‘The Embrace of The Ocean’ represents the ungravid state of consciousness between being asleep and awake. I start to dream, but not quite gone yet, surreal images start to overcome my mind, floating between reality and oneiric imagery.
This painting is one of my compositions inside a Plastic Canvas. This is a canvas mounted onto a Recycled plastic board, made from Ocean plastic waste, by Precious Plastic. This painting is then part of my collaborative project with them, to raise awareness about Ocean plastic pollution and to repurpose materials and turn them into art.
